Celebrating India’s Best Workplaces for Women for fostering a sense of gender equity and equality in the workplace and contributing to the vision of making India a Great Place to Work FOR ALL
Our Methodology
To identify India’s Best Workplaces™ for Women 2021, Great Place to Work® India studied 712 organizations, of which 512 met the eligibility criteria of having:
- Women employees constitute at least 10% of their workforce
- Women employees sharing at least 70% positive feedback on the Trust Index©, i.e. Great Place to Work® Institute’s globally accepted framework used to measure employee experience
Coforge fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace through its policies and practices. To enable our women to continue in the workforce, we launched initiatives like Reach for the Sky, Breakthrough for Career Resilience, A Fine Balance, and MoMentoring to name a few.
We offer a Child Care Leave (CCL) through which employees who wish to take time off work in the initial months of their childbirth may opt for a unique working arrangement, under which they need to work for any half of the day of their choice and will be entitled to half pay. They may avail this work arrangement for a maximum period of 6 months. It helps new mothers and fathers slowly transition back to work.
We have a Work from Home Policy that is intended to be used by Employees who are unable to commute due to ill health or during maternity.
Every year, we conduct meaningful inclusive celebrations on the occasion of International Women’s Day. We also include clients as our partners in our diversity and inclusion journey, and an illustration of this is a recent session wherein our Senior Leader from UK hosted a Fireside chat on ‘Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’ with the Global CIO of one of our reputed clients.
Apart from the crèche accessibility for each of our locations in India, Greater Noida Campus has a state-of-the-art crèche facility known as cradle. Cradle offers a holistic development environment to the kids by providing them early childhood education, nutritious food, and involving them in age-appropriate activities and games for their mental and social development. The cradle has not been operational during the pandemic to ensure safety of kids.
